Who are fast foods main targets?

fast food joints are targeting children, not adults because they know what they want and like which makes them vunerable, when you see a fast food advertisement you usually see kids in those commercials, with a combination of toys they would give out when buying the foods they want.
I personally think that the fast food industry does target children in the fact that they know that kids are easiers targets to the industry by giving them what they want which are little kiddie things that every toddler wants, theres the kids happy meal
How often is fast foods consumed?

Fast food is a growing component of the American diet, and the frequency of fast-food use has increased dramatically since the early 1970s. The number of fast-food outlets increased from about 30, 000 in 1970 to 140, 000 in 1980, and fast food sales increased by about 300%. Recent estimates show that in 2001, there were about 222, 000 fast-food locations in the United States, generating sales of more than $125 billion. Three often consumers agreed that meals at a restaurant or fast-food establishment are essential to the way they live
I only eat fast food maybe once in a while, where i can control how much i take in, in order to understand my body on what i eat, i rather a home cooked meal done by my family or me, because i have a control of what i eat.
Do you agree with morgan spurlock?

Well i think that eating fast food does contribute to obesity, only because its quickly done, cheap, and time consumed most of the time, but he made a documentary on eating it every day, three times a day for 30 days, most of who are obese consume fast food maybe about 3 times a week, other times are just unhealthy home cooking
For the past 3 decades fast food eating has increaded, 43 percent of americans consume fast food more than consuming a home cook meal
Super size me!
Spurlock's film follows a 30-day time period (February to beginning of March 2003) during which he eats only McDonald's food. The film documents this lifestyle's drastic effects on Spurlock's physical and psychological well-being, and explores the fast food industry's corporate influence, including how it encourages poor nutrition for its own profit. Spurlock dined at McDonald's restaurants three times per day, eating every item on the chain's menu. He also always "super-sized" his meal—but only if it was offered. Spurlock consumed an average of 20.92 megajoules or 5,000 (the equivalent of 9.26 Big Macs) per day during the experiment. As a result, the then-32-year-old Spurlock gained 24½ lbs. (11.1 kg), a 13% body mass increase, a cholesterol level of 230, and experienced mood swings, sexual dysfunction, and fat accumulation to his liver. It took Spurlock fourteen months to lose the weight gained from his experiment.
This is a great example of how we consume foods that are harmful to our bodies, as it was stated fast food is the second leading death to smoking, more than 60% of us adults have doubled,One of the most worldwide fast food restaurants is McDonald. There are about 30,000 local restaurants of McDonald, which serves up to almost 52 million people everyday.
HOW DOES FAST FOOD PLAY A ROLE?

Fast food plays a big role in obesity because it is convenient, tasty, greasy and constant. the more we take it in the more you crave for it and the more the fat build up without any physical exersize. It has become socially acceptable especially around the american culture.
Nutritionists and health food campaigners have been saying it for years, but now a new study from the US Department of Agriculture has confirmed it: people who eat fast food have a greater calorie intake than those who do not, and therefore have a greater risk of overweight or obesity.
